The batsmen have taken the light and are walking off so it's stumps. An excellent day for New Zealand with the ball and openers survived a few nervy overs. Southee, O'Brien and Ryder made life difficult for Australia after putting them in. The conditions were as predicted on the eve of the match and the batsmen will be tested for another couple of days at least.

The weather forecast for tonight isn't very good so let's keep our fingers crossed for a scheduled start tomorrow. Thanks for staying with us. Do join us tomorrow. Cheers!
4.6 Lee to How, no run, gets the ball to nip back in and he forces it off his pads
4.5 Lee to How, no run, pushed towards the covers
4.4 Lee to How, no run, holds the length back outside off, he gets a stride across and lets it go
4.3 Lee to How, no run, fullish in length outside off and defended to the off side
4.2 Lee to How, no run, again plays very close to the pad and angles the ball down to the off side
4.1 Lee to How, no run, Huge appeal for a lbw, that looked really close, Lee brings the ball back in from a full length and appears to hit him in line with leg stump, Lee celebrated without even looking back but Koertzen was unmoved, Hawkeye reckons it would have just missed legstump so a very good decision
End of over 4 (3 runs) - New Zealand 7/0

AJ Redmond 3* (18b) SR Clark 2-0-4-0
JM How 2* (8b) B Lee 2-0-3-0
3.6 Clark to Redmond, no run, lands outside off, he lets it go
3.6 Clark to Redmond, 1 no ball, this time he brings the ball back in and tucks him up as he gets forward, takes another blow on the waist
3.5 Clark to Redmond, no run, holds the length back outside off, he watchfully shoulders arms
3.4 Clark to Redmond, no run, pushes forward to a full delivery outside off and decides against a single to mid-off
3.3 Clark to Redmond, no run, back of a length, he gets on the backfoot and defends
3.2 Clark to Redmond, no run, holds the length back outside off, he drives to the off side
3.1 Clark to Redmond, 2 runs, full outside off and driven wide of mid-off and cover
End of over 3 (2 runs) - New Zealand 4/0

JM How 2* (8b) B Lee 2-0-3-0
AJ Redmond 1* (11b) SR Clark 1-0-1-0
2.6 Lee to How, no run, switches to the yorker length, there's minimal swing for Lee but he safely negotiates it
2.5 Lee to How, no run, fires that back of a length outside off and the ball holds its line before reaching Haddin
2.4 Lee to How, no run, pitches it on a good length outside off and he safely defends it away
2.3 Lee to How, 2 runs, drifts on the body and he hops at the crease and works it away fine, How's a little slow off the blocks for the second run but gets there in time
2.2 Lee to How, no run, How totally at sea there, he doesn't know how to deal with the bouncer, he shapes to play, then decides to let it go and in the end the ball fizzes past his helmet
2.1 Lee to How, no run, slides late on the pads and he;s a little late on the flick, very half hearted appeal for lbw by Lee
End of over 2 (1 run) - New Zealand 2/0

AJ Redmond 1* (11b) SR Clark 1-0-1-0
JM How 0* (2b) B Lee 1-0-1-0
1.6 Clark to Redmond, no run, ends a very good over by probing outside the off stump line and forcing him to fish outside the off stump, not far from the edge
1.5 Clark to Redmond, no run, keeps it on a good length outside off and it holds its length before reaching Haddin
1.4 Clark to Redmond, no run, holds the length back outside off, he gets well forward and pushes it to the off side
1.4 Clark to Redmond, 1 no ball, this time he oversteps, he gets forward and digs it out to the off side
1.3 Clark to Redmond, no run, what a jaffa! I tell you folks batting isn't easy out there, this one pitches on off and middle and slices Redmond in half as the ball sails over middle stump.......more
